- Stop Adding Chlorine to your pool immediately and test the Chlorine level in your pool.
- Uncover Your pool and let the sun do it's work
- Add a Chlorine neutralizing chemical to your pool if you have high level
- Add water to your existing pool water

you want to stop adding chlorine to your pool. Test the chlorine levels. You want to keep your pool uncovered. If the levels are high you may want to add a chlorine neutralizer. If you are adding a chlorine neutralizer chemical be sure to test before you add and test after you add for the PH levels. Do not add too much all at once. Remember we need to balance everything out. Should you need to add more chlorine neutralizer chemical repeat the steps.
If you have a filter you can also backwash your pool to get rid of the chlorine. Then you can refill you water. Once you fill your pool up again you may need to recheck the chemical levels in your pool. (Note: this option may take longer)
Keeping the chemical levels in check is like a cause and effect. For example you add chlorine it may effect your ph level in your pool. So making sure that all chemicals are balanced is the key to having a balanced pool.
